Our uncooled scientific microbolometer camera Gobi 640 is perfectly designed for researchers and engineers, allowing to detect temperature differences as small as 0.055 °C. The easy plug-and-play infrared camera system and exclusive on-board Digital Signal Processor (DSP) allows for real-time image analysis. Gobi+ exceeds the temperature resolution to valoes below 0.05°C leading to even more detailled thermal information. The frame rate of Gobi is 50 fps whereas Gobi+ reaches a standard frame rate of 60 fps.
Gobi and Gobi+ take advantage of a high sensitive microbolometer array with a pixel pitch of only 17 µm. This leads to a high spatial resolution in a small camera. The camera comes either with a GigE interface or CameraLink output supporting 16 bit data transfer . The flexibility of the camera is guaranteed by the availability of a trigger in and out interface. As well a lot of interchangeable lenses allow to adapt to different fields of view. A LabView SDK for easy integration into own softwares is available as option. Gobi and Gobi+ are small, lightweight, with low power consumption and can be operated in ambient temperature ranges -40ºC to 60ºC.
